Brow shaping
I love eyebrows! They are usually the first thing people notice! I have done some extensive training so I can specialize in brow shaping. When you sit in my chair, you're first appointment is 30 minutes. We discuss your eyebrows and find a shape best suited for YOU. We talk about brow rehab (if necessary) and the steps to best achieve your perfect brow. In your first appointment you will also have a one on one lesson on filling in your brows, the correct way. I take pride in every step in this appointment, from extra skin protection to making sure you leave me with beautiful brows!
Lash extensions
Lash extensions are beautiful! Biggest benefit: you can just wake up and go!! Lash extensions are individual synthetic lashes attached to one single natural lash. The process is quite amazing! Lash extensions can be high maintenance, and require daily brushing and fills to keep them looking their best! Just like the upkeep with hair and nails, lash extensions also need retouching. Fills are recommended every 2 to 3 weeks to keep them full and wispie. Lash extensions DO NOT damage your natural lash. Exceptions can occur when you go to a lash technician who is not certified, or who does not take the proper time and care when applying. I am a licensed aesthetician and certified lash stylist, the health of your lashes is my #1 priority. Please allow up to 2 hours for your first appointment, and up to 75 minutes for fills. Please come to your appointment with no eye makeup on, or you may be asked to reschedule. Mascara is a no no with lash extensions, you won't need it!
Before any lash appointment:
-Please set aside at lease 2 hours for full set, up to 75 minutes for a fill.
-Please do not wear ANY eye makeup, including mascara and eyeliner. You will be asked to reschedule if mascara is worn day of appointment.
- Please inform me if you know of any eye conditions before your appointment.
-Please remove your contact lenses prior to your appointment and if needed be prepared to use glasses in place of contacts after appointment.
Perspective for new clients:
Keeping your lashes healthy are of the utmost importance to me. On first appointments, I tend to be a little more moderate in my lash application,. This works out well because I can gauge what lashes will work best for your lashes when you return for a fill, but you will still leave the appointment LOVING your new lashes. At your first fill, we can determine if you'd like to stick with the same thickness/curl/length. I will only apply what your lashes can handle to keep them healthy!
Come to your appointment ready for a "lash nap". The less "chatty" during the appointment the more lashes I'm able to apply! Please let me know if there is any music you'd like to relax to.
POPULAR Q & A:
How long do the lashes last?
Generally lashes can last up to 6-8 weeks from the time of application. Does this mean in 6 weeks they will look like you just had them put on? Definitely not. The lifetime of your lashes depends on your hair growth cycle and lifestyle. Regular maintenance every 2-3 weeks will extend the life of your lashes.
Can I wear normal makeup?
Yes, but stay away from products/brands that have high oil content. We do not advise you use mascara. Eye makeup should be removed with oil free makeup. Oils in makeup, mascara, or skin care will cause the adhesive to break down. Take extra care around your eye area. Try to use lint free products to remove makeup around the eyes.
Is it uncomfortable to have them applied?
Not at all! In fact, most people enjoy the experience of a relaxing nap during the duration of the lash application. Naps are preferred, it allows me to apply them more quickly, and for the extension to get a better bond!
Can I react to lash extensions?
Although rare, it is possible to have or develop a sensitivity to the adhesive. If this happens, contact me and I'll have you come in for a removal. Please DO NOT remove them at home.
Do I have to keep them maintained?
Maintenance is not necessary if you are having lashes applied for a special occasion or a holiday. Eventually the lashes will fall off over time and you will be back to your normal lashes.
What is the maintenance program?
Many people like their lashes so much they want to continue wearing the lashes indefinitely. This is achieved by visiting every 2-3 weeks to refill any of the lashes that have fallen out naturally as part of the normal hair growth cycle. At the refill appointment lash cleaning, removal of any lashes that have twisted, and lash priming will occur. Maintenance time can vary depending on how well you care for them at home as well as how long they have been on.
Can I have lash extensions if I wear contact lenses?
Yes, there is no problem for customers who wear contact lenses; however, we recommend you remove them before having them applied.
Will they pull of my natural lashes? Or damage my lashes?
If you follow the correct maintenance process, extensions will not effect your natural lashes. The lashes are attached professionally, by a trained lash technician. At every follow up appointment, we will assess the condition of your natural lashes as well as maintain your required look. If I foresee any problems, I may remove your lashes and re-book a follow-up appointment in a few weeks.
How can I make extensions last longer?
-Do not get lashes wet for first 24-48 hours to allow time for adhesive to fully cure.
-Sleep on your back so your pillow is not rubbing or pulling on your extensions.
-Avoid hot steam or saunas.
-Avoid oil around eye area
-The use of P.E.G. (polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, or any other glycol based ingredients will result in failure of lash bonding.
-Above all, BE GENTLE
-Do not pick or pull your lashes
-Refrain from excessive eye rubbing
24 Hour Tips:

Common activities to avoid are: Showering, eye washing, tanning, applying creams/lotions around eye area, applying mascara or eyeliner, excessive touching, spas, saunas, steam rooms, swimming, exercising, contact lens solution, sleeping on lashes.
